The Madness that is the groundhog prom and we got the thumbs up from the Zombfather!!!

Well another year has come full circle its that time of year Time for the Local Omaha madness that is the 36th annual Groundhog Prom; what is the groundhog prom you may ask? The Groundhog prom is an alternative costume party held in Omaha every year usually on or about groundhogs day. Every year is a different theme, the theme this year is Come As Who you Aren't- A salute to snowden and wikileaks or come as your favorite whistle blower.  The event is sponsored by the order of the knights of the groundhog and was started as a counterblast to Omaha;s Knights of Aksarben and the kingdom of quivera. The first Groundhog prom consisted of 50 people wearing tacky formal wear, the attendance has grow considerably numbers for last years parted exceeded 2000+. We will be there in full force myself, inferna, ash, lady torrid and Deadra the Groupie Corpse. A certain other local horror host will be  with the mission of making things difficult for us no doubt however that aint gonna happen as the men and women of the Omaha Polcie Dept will be there to make sure everyone has a good time and behaves themselves.

We have a new family member

We have added a new member our crazy little family.. It is my great pleasure to welcome Lady Torrid. Played by the Voluptuous,Vivacious Amy Hines.. We were fortunate to have met Amy at this years Groundhog Prom back in February, also contacting us during one of our casting calls.  Having shot Episodes of Both The Angry Brothers Omaha Shock O Rama and Movie Night at the Monastery of Mayhem the chemistry between Inferna, James and Myself was there and the decision wa made to offer her the position  which she readily accepted. So Lets all give her a warm Welcome. Enjoy these pics.

Its Spring Bitches..

Greetings Faithful Followers,

It has been a while since I have done a blog post, a lot has happened The tragedy of the Boston Marathon bombings and subsequent death of one of the bombers and capture of the other. As always our thoughts and prayers are with the victims the injured and their families. We have lost many celebrities over the last 30-45 days, these Celebs include, Annette Funicello, Jonathan Winters & Roger Ebert just to name a few. We Have bid farewell to our dear friend Dr Mel Praxis (not deceased but deciding to get out of the horror host game) we wish him well in all his endeavors and we will be touching base with him for an update.

  Also we have seen the Big Horrorhound  Weekend convention come and go. Have read a lot of great stories of the goings on at this from other sources including Svengoolie, and the Terror beyond the daves blog. 

We did wish to extend our congrats to Svengoolie and Count Gore De Vol on their winning of the Rondo Awards for Best active Horror host (Sven) and Best Monster Kid (Count Gore) old brother Jack will have to keep punching ... maybe next year.  

On a somewhat lighter note, the weather is warming up, things are becoming green again, the smell of spring in the air. With those positive inputs from the universe at large I do feel a renewal of spirit and of creativity and the drive to continue bringing our fans and views the best possible shows myself and my crew  can produce in spite of the efforts and comments of those who would try to stop us. We have just finished episode # 60 of the show and episode 5 of our movie review program Movie Night Live from the Monastery of Mayhem. The Blogtalk show will be returning after a small hiatus. The numbers I am getting on listeners from blogtalk have been very encouraging and am looking forward to bringing you all more and even better guests.

Look for even better sponsors in the coming months and for more appearences in the Omaha metro area, you all aint seen nothing yet.

Changes For the New year

Also We do want to imapart some sadder information a good friend of our show and fellow horror host Dr Mel Praxis aka keenan powell had desided to fold production on his program Movie Madness with Dr praxis sighting the recent situations with public domain movies being the cause. We had dr praxis and terril roe from The Horror Congress on our show on monday to discuss this you can catch it here 

It is official we are a permanant feature on Indie Horror TV The Angry Brothers Omaha SHock O Rama and our movie review program Movie Night Live from the Monastery of Mayhem are officially part of the lineup at www.indiehorror.tv so you can see them on line. In addition to our blip and vimeo and youtube channels.

a new look for the angry brothers and we finally located evelle lechat

Greetings faithful followers,

Your Old Pal Brother Jack Angry has some great news recently we were able to shoot several episodes with Brother James starting a new storyline to re introduce him back to the viewers after an extended absence. Your all going to want to tune in to see what happens. Also we have a new look here on the show new outfits for myself and Syn and Inferna, these were provided by our friends at purecostumes
A wonderful and economical source for all your costume needs.

    I recently had the pleasure of speaking to a really wonderful lady with the sexiest voice I have ever heard faithful followers, and as long as a decrepit old fart like me has been around thats saying something. I am referring to the Vixen of Vamp, the hostess of Night Frights out of Conway AR the lovely Evelle Lechat
after much searching of the internet I was able to locate a contact number I expected the number to be disconnected when I called after a nondescript leave a msg I didn't not expect a callback but lo and behold 2 days later i got a voice mail msg on my phone the minuet i heard the french accent I knew it was Evelle, 5 days worth of phone tag later I was actually speaking to her. My first question is "where have you been?" I know many of my fellow horror hosts have inquired about this as well. Evelle explained that the tv station that was broadcasting Night Frights was bought by a company with a religious agenda and did not want a horror program on thier station,(hate mail?...HMMMM). Evelle also explained  that since this had occurred may of the crew members that helped her film have gone on to other projects. We definately want to have Evelle on our show for a visit or an interview we hope to get that accomplished after she relocates back to the sunny west cost and begins refilming her show. Evelle reassured me that she would be back , we  wish her much 
success to a really terrific lady and a fantastic horror host.
